A big thanks to all of the Los Osos Girls Soccer Alumni for coming out and taking on the current Varsity squad. A great time was had by all and the Varsity beat the Alumni 2-0.

Congrats to the Los Osos Girls Soccer JV team for winning the San G. Tournament this past week. In their 5 games, they outscored their opponents 20 – 3 to cap off an undefeated tournament.

The annual LOHS Girls Soccer Summer Camp came to a close on Friday after 4 days of practices, drills, and scrimmages. Thirty six incoming freshman and returning players attended the 4 day event.

Thank you everybody for coming out. We hope you all had a great time!!!

A highly successful season officially came to an end Wednesday night as the Los Osos Girls Soccer Team celebrated this season’s accomplishments at the team’s banquet.

Many awards were given out and a good time was had by all. It was bittersweet to say goodbye to the Seniors. But on a bright note, the future of LOHS Girls Soccer looks very promising.

A fantastic run through the State Regional Playoffs came to an end in the finals as the Grizzlies lost to Redondo Union 2-1.

Mia Casey gave the Grizzlies a short lived lead with a beautiful free kick that found the back of the net in the 57th minute.
But Redondo Union answered quickly to tie the score and then scored again in the 74th minute to put them up for good.

The loss ends the Grizzlies season which saw them take 2nd place in the Baseline League, advance to the CIF Semifinals, and then advance to the State Regional Final.

Great job ladies. Keep your heads up.
