Feb. 15, 2018: Despite the absence of several key players, the LOHS Varsity squad fought hard in their first round CIF playoff game against Edison High. The Chargers came out strong and scored the first goal, and by halftime had a 1-0 lead. Our Grizzlies started the second with better energy, and pulled out to a 2-1 lead, before allowing the tying goal late in regulation. A 10 minute OT period couldn’t determine a winner, so this contest was decided by penalty kicks from the mark. All 5 Grizzly shooters buried thier shots, and our goalkeeper stopped 1 out of 4 shots to take the win! Congratulations Ladies!!
