The LOHS Girl’s Summer Camp was a great success. A big THANK YOU goes out to all who helped make this such a memorable event. We will be seeing all the attending athletes in the Fall for tryouts. Time and Date TBD! Great Job Lady Grizzlies!
Online registration ends May 14th!
Each Summer in late May, the LOHS Girl’s Soccer program hosts a 4-Day Summer Camp held at Los Osos High School. This program is intended for both incoming freshman and returning students. Anyone interested in playing soccer for the LOHS Girl’s teams can attend.
The Summer Camp introduces the girls to the LOHS coaching staff, and includes conditioning, drills and scrimmages, much like a team practice. For the Summer of 2018, the LOHS Girls Soccer Summer Camp will be held from May 29 thru June 1. Camp begins each day at 8am, and will conclude at 10am.

Let’s fill the LOHS stadium with screaming fans for our Varsity girl’s round 3 CIF match against Santa Margarita this Friday! Nothing gives a team more of a boost than feeling an excited, home town crowd behind them. Tell all your family, friends and neighbors about this upcoming game; and let’s get behind our Lady Grizzlies!!
GAME TIME: Friday, February 23, 2018 at 5pm
MORE GREAT REASONS TO ATTEND:
• Everything on TV stinks • The dog can eat after the game • CIF home games don’t happen often • There’s plenty of time after the game for homework • Enjoy the cool breeze flowing into the Stadium • You can work late some other time • Your smart phone needs a break • A busy stadium is a great place to make friends • The Snack Bar staff is awesome • You might see somebody you recognize • High School students in the stands can be very entertaining • You don’t want to be the only one who missed this exciting event… (shouldn’t that be enough?)
Our Lady Grizzlies overpowered Aliso Niguel early in the match to gain a 2-0 lead at halftime. Weathering the expected onslaught from the Wolverines in the second half, the LOHS squad bolstered their defense and earned the 2-1 Win in regulation. Principal Kirk was on hand to support our Varsity team, and joined in the celebration on the field afterwards.
Feb. 15, 2018: Despite the absence of several key players, the LOHS Varsity squad fought hard in their first round CIF playoff game against Edison High. The Chargers came out strong and scored the first goal, and by halftime had a 1-0 lead. Our Grizzlies started the second with better energy, and pulled out to a 2-1 lead, before allowing the tying goal late in regulation. A 10 minute OT period couldn’t determine a winner, so this contest was decided by penalty kicks from the mark. All 5 Grizzly shooters buried thier shots, and our goalkeeper stopped 1 out of 4 shots to take the win! Congratulations Ladies!!
